YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! New Facility Counter-Top Displays

Recently, the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office Organ/Tissue Donor Program implemented a new counter-top photo display initiative for all Illinois Driver Services Facilities.

Each unique display features a local recipient, donor family member or someone involved with the donation and/or transplantation process. The fact that the displays feature local people helps others realize that recipients and donor family members are their neighbors, friends, co-workers or schoolmates. Because of their personal experiences with our life-saving program, the photographs and testimonials are especially powerful.

By personalizing the issue of donation in each area of the State of Illinois, those who visit the facilities are more apt to join the registry as organ/tissue donors.
